On 6 June I served as bilingual MC for the NEO JAPAN programme at Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia 2024.

Founded by actor Tetsuya Bessho in 1999, SSFF & Asia is one of Asia’s largest international short film festivals and an Academy Award® accredited event. The NEO JAPAN programme spotlights promising emerging Japanese directors.

I hosted the talk and Q&A sessions with the directors and filmmakers. The experience reaffirmed for me how valuable it is to connect people across languages and cultural backgrounds. If you need a bilingual MC for an event or project, please do get in touch.
